Original Air Date: 26 February 1983 What was a bad idea in the first place — tricking Eunice into a surprise birthday party at the Bigger Jigger (she thought Ed was taking her to a classy restaurant) goes downhill even faster when Eunice spots a poster of Congressional candidate Duke Reeves — the high school hunk she had a crush on. Vint lets it slip that Duke Reeves actually came to the Harper house once to check on Eunice (she had fallen while chasing his car), but Mama had shooed him away. This leads to a massive cat fight, and BOTH Eunice and Mama punch out cops having beers at the bar, landing both of them in a holding cell with a prostitute. The hooker proves surprisingly sympathetic to Mama as she end Eunice each complain about being neglected by the other.
